We are currently seekeing Production Technicians at our Tuscon, AZ facility.

Position Purpose
Assemble medical devices and prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the quality of the product.
Scope
The Production Technician receives work direction from the Production Supervisor. This position works as part of a team and is responsible for conforming to all company policies and Procedures.

This position is responsible for providing clerical support for the production and inventory management system. This position ensures documentation and records are retained and are in compliance to all required quality systems.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
Able to speak, read, write and understand English at the 8th grade level
Have basic math and computer skills
Able to perform moderate lifting (30 lbs.)
Experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attention to Detail.
• Able to read and follow Drawing Specifications.
• Bonding using various types of adhesives and cure processes and tooling.
• Assembly of Catheters, needles and supporting tubing assemblies.
• Operate, load and unload, automated and semi-automated packing and sealing equipment.
• Accurate accounting of time and labor on a daily basis.
• Use and dispose of chemicals in a safe manner according to applicable MSDS.
• Adhere to all safety and housekeeping policies for a manufacturing environment.
• Adhere to Employee Handbook.
• Communicate with Leaders and team in a manner that is timely, complete and clear.
• Understand and follow documented Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Maintain accurate personal training records.
Production Line
• Receive Process Orders from Planner
• Perform Line Clearance
• Cross train at various production stations
• Balance production lines to ensure both lines are meeting daily goals
• Conduct daily meetings to communicate Safety, Quality and Production goals
• Ensure everybody adheres to all safety and housekeeping policies as well as procedures.
• Ensure all equipment is set to the validated parameters.
• Lead the production team in ergonomics exercises and safety obligations discussion.

Production System
• Label Validations
• Process order confirmations
• Enter scrap consumption on Process Order
• Complete DHR paperwork by following Good Documentation Practices.
